Milk Mixture

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy of choice) Oat or almond milk can be used as alternatives.
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree Use canned or homemade pumpkin puree.
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar Adjust sweetness to taste; maple syrup is a good alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice For an extra kick, consider adding cardamom or ginger.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • whipped cream Optional, for topping.
  • extra cinnamon Optional, for garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Brew your coffee or espresso: Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee or a shot (or two) of espresso. Set it aside, but keep it warm.
  • Prepare the milk mixture: In a small saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Whisk it over medium heat until it’s hot and frothy, but do not let it boil.

Combine

  • Pour the hot coffee or espresso into a large mug. Slowly add the pumpkin milk mixture and stir gently to combine all the flavors.

Serve

  • If desired, add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with extra cinnamon. Sip and enjoy every cozy moment!

Notes

Use an airtight container to store leftovers for up to 2 days. Reheat gently before serving. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
