Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well blended. Add the eggs one at a time, along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until evenly mixed.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Ensure not to overmix.
  • Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the brownie batter.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using dark cocoa powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
