  • 6 large large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk Can use any milk variety.
  • to taste none Salt
  • to taste none Pepper
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, etc.) Feel free to mix and match veggies.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice) Experiment with different cheeses.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add your chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are soft.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sautéed vegetables. Allow it to cook for a few minutes until the edges start to set.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the egg and vegetable mixture.
  • Carefully transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly browned on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

Customize your frittata with any seasonal vegetables or herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
