  • 1 cup marinara sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Mozzarella, cheddar, or your favorite blend.
  • 1 cup assorted toppings Sliced pepperoni alternatives, bell peppers, olives, onions, etc.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional for added flavor.
  • Olive oil For drizzling.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, so you have two long pieces.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Spread the marinara sauce evenly over both halves of the bread.
  • Sprinkle the cheese generously on top of the sauce.
  • Add your desired toppings over the cheese. Feel free to mix and match!
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top for an extra pop of flavor, if desired.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil over the top for a golden finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a moment, slice, and serve!
