Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1 lb
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour for dredging
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Dredge the chicken breasts in flour, coating them evenly.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until they are softened.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, dry mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth.
  • Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Before serving, stir in the sour cream to create a creamy sauce.
  • Serve your chicken stroganoff over egg noodles or rice.
