Easy Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole

This Easy Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole is a comforting one-dish meal that's perfect for busy weeknights or feeding a hungry family.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 1 can 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Your Oven
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the Ground Beef
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and garlic until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine the Ingredients
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef mixture, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, tomato sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Assemble the Casserole
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve
  • Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
