Ingredients

  • 1 Ciabatta or Baguette sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 8 ounces Burrata cheese
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves torn
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze optional for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure the bread slices become beautifully crisp.
  • Arrange your sliced bread on a baking sheet, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt, then bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • While your bread is toasting, combine the halved cherry tomatoes and torn basil in a bowl, add the remaining olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper, then toss gently to coat.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and top each slice with a generous amount of burrata, using a spoon to create an opening in the cheese for that oozy effect.
  • Spoon the tomato basil mixture generously over the burrata, and if desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Enjoy your bruschetta immediately while it's warm and fresh.
