Total Time 1 hour hr 15 minutes mins
- 2 cans ready-to-use refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 packages cream cheese 8-ounce, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
Open one pack of crescent rolls and lay it in the baking pan, then pinch the seams together to seal the openings to create the bottom layer.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and one egg until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Spread the filling evenly over the layer of crescent rolls in the pan.
Open the second can of crescent rolls and stretch it over the cheese filling, pinching the seams together to keep the filling contained.
Beat the egg white lightly and brush it over the top layer of crescent rolls for a golden finish.
Bake for about 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
While the danish is cooling, mix together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a smooth glaze.
After allowing the cheese danish to cool for about 20 minutes, drizzle the glaze on top.
