  • 4 large large eggs
  • 1 cup milk Use room temperature for best results.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Melt in the baking dish.
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional) Adds sweetness when dusted on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, add the unsalted butter and place it in the oven to melt while it preheats.
  • In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth for about 30 seconds.

Baking

  • Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter over the melted butter.
  • Return the dish to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the pancake has puffed up and turned golden brown.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients. Avoid opening the oven door during baking to prevent the pancake from deflating. Try adding nutmeg or cinnamon for extra flavor.
