  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Start by washing your zucchinis thoroughly. Slice them into rounds about 1/4-inch thick.
  • In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Take each zucchini round and dip it lightly in olive oil or spray it with cooking spray. Then, coat it generously with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture.
  • Place the coated zucchinis in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  • Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the zucchini rounds from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve warm, and enjoy the crunch!

Notes

For optimal results, ensure not to skip the oil for crispiness. Feel free to experiment with different herbs or add more cheese during cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, reheating in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
