  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon butter Can use a Halal-friendly substitute.

For Serving (Optional)

  • Caramel sauce For drizzling over the apples.
  • Ice cream Vanilla ice cream recommended.

Preparation

  • Wash the apples thoroughly. Core and slice them into thin wedges.
  • In a large bowl, toss the apple wedges with the brown sugar and cinnamon, ensuring even coating.
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish and pour it over the apple mixture. Toss gently to combine.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place apple slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness after 10 minutes. Continue cooking in 2-minute increments if needed.

Serving

  • Transfer the cooked apples to a serving bowl. Drizzle with caramel sauce or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Notes

Storing: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 350°F. For freezing, store in a freezer-safe bag for up to a month.
