  • 2 cups milk or any plant-based milk of your choice Regular or plant-based options are okay.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Softened, at room temperature for easy blending.
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup sugar or honey Adjust based on preference.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Frozen blueberries can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Instructions
 

Cooking the Oats

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are creamy and cooked.

Making the Creamy Layer

  • While the oats are cooking, mix the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, sugar or honey, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.

Combining

  • Once the oats are cooked, remove them from the heat and let them cool for a minute. Stir in half of the blueberry mixture so that your oats turn into a dreamy purple vortex.

Serving

  • Spoon the creamy mixture of cream cheese and yogurt on top of the oats, then layer with the remaining fresh blueberries, giving a lovely presentation.
