Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or your preferred alternative)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or use half-and-half for a lighter version)

Flavor Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or your choice of sweetener) Adjust sweetness according to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: milk, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until it just starts to simmer, being careful not to boil.
  • Once the mixture is warm, whisk in the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir well until combined and smooth.
  • Keep stirring as you allow the creamer to heat through and just start to simmer again.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly. Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar or container.
  • When ready to use, shake well and add desired amounts to your coffee.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week. Can freeze in ice cube trays for up to three months.
