  • 1 cup Pizza sauce For spreading on the pizza base.

Cheese and Toppings

  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese For a cheesy topping.
  • Your favorite toppings (like pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives) Choose based on preference.
  • Olive oil For brushing on the edges.
  • Italian herbs (like oregano or basil) To sprinkle atop the pizzas.
  • Flour For dusting the surface.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a large circle, aiming for about ¼-inch thick.
  • Using a heart template or freehand, cut the dough into heart shapes.
  • Spoon a thin layer of pizza sauce onto each heart shape, leaving space around the edges.
  • Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Add your selected toppings and sprinkle a pinch of Italian herbs on top.

Baking

  • Carefully transfer the heart-shaped pizzas to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Once done, take out of the oven and brush the edges with olive oil.
  • Allow to cool for a minute before serving.

Serving

  • Slice and serve your delightful heart pizzas to your loved ones.

Notes

For best results, allow refrigerated dough to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before rolling. Experiment with toppings and cooking times based on your oven.
