  • 1 sheet 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed) Ensure the pastry is thawed.
  • 1 cup 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped) Chop finely for even distribution.
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ea 1 egg (beaten, for the egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix until thoroughly combined.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to a rectangle, about 1/8-inch thick and cut into 2-inch wide strips.
  • Spoon a bit of the filling onto the edge of each pastry strip, being careful not to overfill.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling and gently twist it to form a spiral, ensuring the filling is enclosed.
  • Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush each twist with the beaten egg.

Baking

  • Bake the twists in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
