- ½ cup Panko bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup favorite hot sauce (more in notes section)
- 3 tbsp plant butter, melted
- 1 lb cauliflower florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
For the Batter
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ cup oat milk (or more, if needed)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Mix the flour, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and oat milk in a large bowl. Adjust the milk quantity as necessary to achieve a batter-like consistency. Try to achieve a texture that is similar to pancake batter.
Take a bowl and add the cauliflower florets to it and cover them evenly with the flour mixture, either using a spoon or using your hands.
Take a medium-sized bowl and pour the Panko bread crumbs into it. Dip the cauliflower pieces into the bowl and roll them around until they are completely coated in the bread crumbs.
Arrange the coated cauliflower on a spacious baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring that the pieces are evenly spaced out. Place the cauliflower in an oven that has been preheated to 425°F and bake for around 15 minutes.
As the cauliflower is baking in the oven, prepare the sauce by combining the hot sauce and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
Retrieve the roasted cauliflower bites from the oven and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Subsequently, return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
