Preparation

  • Start by cutting the beef stew meat into bite-sized pieces, then peel and cube the sweet potatoes. Chop the onion, slice the carrots, and mince the garlic.

Layering

  • In your crockpot, first place the beef stew meat. Layer the sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, and minced garlic on top.

Seasoning

  • Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and dried thyme evenly over the vegetables and meat. Add the bay leaf for extra flavor.

Adding Broth
