Crockpot Ranch Chicken

Crockpot Ranch Chicken is an easy, flavorful, and comforting meal that will become a family favorite in no time.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 packet 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken
  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Mix the Sauce
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, softened cream cheese, and chicken broth. Whisk until smooth.
  • Assemble and Cook
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Cover the crockpot with a lid and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken if desired.
  • Stir in cooked vegetables if you want to make it a one-pot meal.
  • Shred or Serve Whole
  • For a shredded chicken dish, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the sauce. Mix well to coat every piece in the creamy ranch sauce. Alternatively, serve the chicken whole with the sauce spooned over the top.
