- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Prepare the Chicken: Start by cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Combine in the Slow Cooker: Place the chicken pieces in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over the top. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Thicken the Sauce (Optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serve It Up: Once ready, serve the Chicken over rice, garnished with green onions if desired.
