  • 1/2 cup almond flour (or coconut flour for a nut-free version)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
  • to taste fresh lemon wedges (for serving)

Preparation

  • Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Dip each salmon piece into the flour mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the salmon bites in the skillet and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

Store any leftover crispy salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes for best results.
