  • 4 medium russet potatoes Keep skin on for extra crunch.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, and then cut each half into wedges.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss in the potato wedges, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove from oven when golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dips.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Ensure wedges are uniform in size and not overcrowded on the baking sheet.
