Prepare the Cheese Bites
Cut the mozzarella into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
Set Up the Breading Station
Place the flour in one shallow dish.
In a second dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
In a third dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Bread the Cheese Cubes
Dredge each mozzarella cube in flour, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Dip the floured cube into the egg mixture, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
For an extra crispy coating, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps for a double breading.
Place the breaded cheese cubes on a plate or tray and freeze for at least 20-30 minutes to prevent them from melting too quickly during frying.
Fry the Cheese Bites
Heat about 2 inches of oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the mozzarella bites in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve and Garnish
Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce. Garnish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
