  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder for the crackers.

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder For added flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  • Add the large egg to the mixture and mix until a dough forms. The dough should resemble a thick paste.
  • Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick, ensuring it's even.
  • Remove the top layer of parchment paper and use a knife or pizza cutter to score the dough into squares or desired shapes.
  • Transfer the crackers (while still on the parchment) to a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  • Let the crackers cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then break them apart and enjoy.

Notes

Store any leftover crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. They can be refrigerated for up to two weeks, and to restore crunchiness, reheat them in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for a few minutes.
