Crispy Honey Garlic Salmon Bites

Crispy Honey Garlic Salmon Bites are a mouthwatering way to elevate weeknight dinners or impress guests with minimal effort.

Equipment

  • Sharp Knife – To cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces
  • Mixing Bowl – For preparing the coating
  • Nonstick Skillet – To ensure even frying and prevent sticking
  • Tongs or Spatula – For flipping the salmon bites while cooking

Ingredients

  • For the Salmon Bites
  • 1 lb salmon fillet skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • For the Honey Garlic Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the Salmon Bites
  • Pat the salmon cubes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then lightly coat each piece in cornstarch or flour, shaking off the excess.
  • Pan-Fry the Salmon
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon bites in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside on a plate.
  • Make the Honey Garlic Glaze
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice, letting the mixture simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Combine and Serve
  • Return the salmon bites to the skillet and gently toss them in the glaze until fully coated. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the salmon is heated through.
  • Garnish and Serve
  • Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired, and serve immediately.
