  • Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water, then trim the ends and slice them in half. This helps them roast evenly.
  • Season and Coat: In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat well.

Cooking

  • Roast: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast them in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  • Make the Sauce: While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Warm over low heat until fragrant and slightly thickened.

Serving

  • Combine: Once the Brussels sprouts are roasting and crispy, remove them from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over them. Toss gently to coat them evenly.
  • Serve and Garnish: Remove from the tray and place them in a serving dish. Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for added crunch and flavor.

Notes

For the best results, avoid overcrowding the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet to maintain crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
