  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss until well-coated.
  • Transfer the seasoned cauliflower onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading them out in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Roast the cauliflower in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until fork-tender and starting to brown.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Return to the oven and roast for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finishing

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, cut cauliflower into uniform florets and do not overcrowd the baking sheet for maximum crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
