  • 4 large tortilla wraps Whole wheat or regular
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Or your choice of sauce

Preparation

  • Start by baking or frying your halal-friendly chicken nuggets according to the package instructions until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the chicken is cooking, warm the tortilla wraps in a skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave them for 15 seconds until they are pliable.
  • Once the chicken is ready, place about 4-5 nuggets in the center of each tortilla wrap. Top them with the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  • Drizzle your favorite ranch dressing over the fillings. You can be as generous as you like.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom to secure all the fillings inside. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  • Slice each wrap in half, serve immediately, and watch as everyone indulges joyfully!

Notes

Substitutions: You can easily swap out the fillings based on your preferences. Prepare all your ingredients ahead of time to ensure everything stays warm. Avoid overfilling the wraps to make them easier to roll and less likely to burst open while eating. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat chicken nuggets in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to maintain their crispiness.
