For the filling

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or your choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined and creamy.
  • Roll Out the Dough: Open the cans of crescent roll dough and unroll the dough onto a clean surface.
  • Fill the Crescents: Place approximately 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling at the wider end of each triangle. Roll the dough towards the point, creating a snug roll.
  • Bake: Place the roll ups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they have space in between. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Optionally, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy finish, broil them for a minute or two at the end of baking. Avoid overfilling your roll ups to prevent bursting.
