  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the shredded chicken and mix well.
  • Slowly add the white cheddar, stirring until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine the pasta with the sauce and stir until well coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce. Substitute white cheddar with mozzarella or Gouda if preferred. For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
