For the creamy sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix using your hands or a spoon until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into evenly sized meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. This should yield around 20-25 meatballs.

Baking and Sauce Preparation

  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the meatballs are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then add in the Italian seasoning, stirring well. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Serving

  • Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet with the creamy sauce and gently stir to coat each meatball.
  • Serve the meatballs and sauce onto plates or over pasta, sprinkling with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For different protein, ground turkey or beef can be used. Chill the meatball mixture for 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor. Avoid overmixing to prevent tough meatballs.
