Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 12 oz kielbasa, sliced
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or milk, but alters creaminess.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Always taste before serving; adjust seasoning as needed.

Optional garnish

  • a few sprigs fresh parsley For garnish, if desired.

Instructions

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they start to become bright green and tender.
  • Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Gradually mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until it's melted and creamy, ensuring every piece of kielbasa and broccoli is coated in that delicious sauce.
  • Once everything is heated through, remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

To make your meal even more delightful, consider serving with fluffy rice, creamy mashed potatoes, a simple side salad, or warm bread for mopping up the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
