  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Opt for freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear them for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it!).
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens, which takes about 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the sauce. Allow it to simmer for another minute or so to absorb those lovely flavors.

Garnishing & Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving. Pair with pasta, rice, or vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat and add a splash of cream or broth if needed. This dish doesn't freeze well due to the cream sauce.
