Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 16 oz package of gnocchi
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Once it reaches a boil, add in the gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring it to a gentle simmer and allow it to thicken slightly (around 5 minutes).
  • Add the cooked gnocchi and spinach to the skillet. Stir well to ensure everything is well-coated.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy your creamy deliciousness!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, let the sauce cool before transferring to a freezer-safe container. Thaw overnight and reheat in a skillet, adding a splash of cream or broth if needed.
