Preparation

  • Wash and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds. If desired, peel them for a different texture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, and chopped dill. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  • Add the cucumber slices to the bowl of dressing. Toss gently until all slices are evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and give it another light toss.
  • For best flavor, let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftover salad can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Avoid freezing, as the texture of cucumbers changes once thawed.
