Ingredients
  

For the lasagna

  • 12 pieces lasagna noodles Regular or no-boil
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie or leftover chicken
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups white sauce Homemade or store-bought

For seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Spread a layer of white sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Layering

  • Layer cooked noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the chicken mixture. Top with mozzarella and a layer of white sauce.
  • Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles topped with white sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.

Baking

  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For ingredient substitutions, you can use turkey or veggies. Avoid rushing the resting time to help maintain structure. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
