  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve half for topping.
  • 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce Adjust amount based on heat preference.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing) Ranch gives a creamy flavor and balances the heat.
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese Optional; adds a strong flavor.
  • Sliced green onions or celery sticks for garnish Use for fresh flavor and presentation.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Stir in the Buffalo wing sauce and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, along with the crumbled blue cheese if using.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before garnishing with sliced green onions. Serve warm with your favorite chips, crackers, or veggie sticks.

Notes

To prevent overheating the dip, refrain from mixing too much. Balance heat levels by adjusting the Buffalo sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
