Dressing

  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt Adds creaminess to the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For richness
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Adds tanginess
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust to preference

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let it cool slightly.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • In a large bowl, toss together the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil.
  • Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta mixture and gently toss until everything is well-coated.
  • If you have the time, cover and refrigerate the salad for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
