Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound Tortellini Fresh or frozen
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Halal-certified
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich, creamy sauce
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated is best for maximum flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Adds a fragrant touch
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped For sweetness and depth
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Perfect for sautéing
  • Salt and Pepper To taste
  • Parsley For garnish, optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through.

Sauce Creation

  • Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir until well combined.
  • Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, gently stirring to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute ground beef for chicken or turkey and the cheese can be swapped with mozzarella for extra creaminess. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or milk.
