Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces flour tortillas or corn tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • to taste none Salt and pepper
  • none none Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, diced bell peppers, green onions, black olives (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly across each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape. Ensure that the filling stays inside as you roll. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice each rolled tortilla into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Arrange them on a serving platter, cut side up.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or additional green onions. These bites can be served immediately or refrigerated for later enjoyment.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze the rolled-up tortillas (uncut) for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and slice before serving. Microwave for short bursts to reheat or serve cold.
