Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier spreading.
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped Feel free to experiment with other herbs.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Tortillas

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

Optional

  • to taste fresh mint For added flavor.

Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and crumbled feta cheese. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the chopped dried cranberries, fresh basil, and fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling Pinwheels

  • Lay out one tortilla on a clean surface. Using a spatula, spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto the tortilla, covering it evenly.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log, making sure all of the filling stays inside.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch pieces.

Serving

  • Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve. They can be enjoyed immediately or refrigerated for later.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother mixture. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
