Crab-Stuffed Cheddar Bay Biscuits with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients
For the Biscuit Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup milk
For the Crab Filling
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
For the Lemon Butter Sauce
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 none Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 none Zest of 1 lemon

Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Add the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, then gradually pour in the milk, mixing until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crab meat, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley until well-blended.
- On a floured surface, roll out the biscuit dough to about 1-inch thick and cut out circles.
- Place half of the circles on the prepared baking sheet. Add a spoonful of crab filling on each circle and top with another biscuit circle, sealing the edges gently.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
Preparing Lemon Butter Sauce
- While the biscuits are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the lemon juice and zest.
Serving
- Once the biscuits are done, drizzle them with the zesty lemon butter sauce before serving.
