  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions For garnish.
  • Optional chopped walnuts or pecans For topping.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) while you prepare the dip.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded white cheddar cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  • Add cranberries, garlic powder, onion powder, and honey (or maple syrup) to the cheese mixture. Stir until incorporated; ensure you see pockets of cranberries throughout the dip.
  • Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and add chopped walnuts or pecans for a delightful crunch, if desired.

  • Serve warm with pita chips, crusty bread, or your favorite veggies, and enjoy!

Notes

Tips: Cheese alternatives can include gouda or sharp cheddar. Fresh garlic and onion can be substituted in moderation. The dip can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake, adding extra time to the baking process.
