  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready to go.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, and melted butter. Stir until everything is well-mixed.
  • Next, sprinkle in the cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; don’t overmix!
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  • Once done, allow it to cool slightly before serving. Watch as your family enjoys every creamy bite!

Notes
