Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Broccoli Florets, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, for roasting
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, for a punch of flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder, to create a savory undertone
  • to taste Salt & Pepper, essential seasonings for balance
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated, for that delectable cheesy finish
  • ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes, optional, for a hint of heat
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, for a fresh zesty kick

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the washed and cut broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Toss well to coat each floret evenly.

Roasting

  • Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are vibrant green and slightly crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot broccoli.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top before serving.

Serving

  • Serve your perfectly roasted broccoli hot as a side and enjoy.

Notes

For substitutions, consider melted butter instead of olive oil or trying different cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to prevent sogginess. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
