Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, minced onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over medium heat. Break the meat into small pieces and brown evenly for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the beef is thoroughly cooked, drain any excess grease if necessary, and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Spoon the cheesy beef mixture generously over the bottom buns.
  • Cover with the top halves of the buns and brush lightly with melted butter if desired.

Cooking

  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the buns are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, diced tomatoes, and pickles before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Consider using lean ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Avoid overcooking the beef to maintain its juiciness. Store leftovers in an airtight container; they can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
