  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, being gentle to retain airiness.
  • Mix in the water and vanilla extract until you have a smooth batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
