Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut butter) Substitute with sunflower seed butter for nut-free option.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by greasing an 8×8-inch baking pan with a little oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and marshmallows over medium heat. Stir constantly until everything is melted and smooth. Be careful not to let it boil!
  • Once the mixture is melted and bubbly, remove it from the heat and stir in the chocolate protein powder until fully combined.
  • In a large bowl, add the Rice Krispies. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and stir until all the cereal is evenly coated.
  • If using chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into your prepared baking pan. Wet your hands or a spatula to flatten the mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Allow your treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting them into squares or rectangles.
  • Enjoy! These treats are now ready to be enjoyed by your friends and family!
