  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark.

Coating ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts Such as peanuts or almonds.
  • to taste sprinkles or mini chocolate chips Optional for decoration.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and peanut butter. Use an electric mixer or a whisk to blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture, beating thoroughly until combined. The result should be a thick and creamy blend.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture for that rich chocolaty flavor.
  • Once well-mixed, use your hands to form the mixture into a ball shape. Aim for a size that’s easy to manage and perfect for dipping.
  • Roll the cheese ball in crushed nuts or your choice of toppings until fully coated.
  • Cover your cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow it to firm up.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, place on a serving platter, and enjoy with your favorite dippers like fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

Substitutions for a healthier option include almond or sunflower butter. Chill for best texture and ensure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps.
