  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced Use fresh chicken for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Cut into even pieces for even cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust quantity according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Can be substituted with hoisin sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • Cooked rice for serving Serve hot over rice.

Cooking Steps

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken slices and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for an additional minute.
  • Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce; stir to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let them cool down and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They should last for about 3-4 days. To reheat, use a microwave or a pan over medium heat until warmed through.
