Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 1 lb beef (thinly sliced) Slice against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce Adjust based on preference for sweetness and saltiness.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Vegetables

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For stir-frying.
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped) For garnish.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the marinated beef, cooking until browned.
  • Add bell pepper and onion, stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in oyster sauce, mixing well until everything is coated.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles to soak up all the delicious sauce. Add sesame seeds for crunch. Pairs well with stir-fried vegetables or a light salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
